Courses

You can earn the Graduate Certificate in Wind Energy by successfully completing three online courses:

AERSP 583: Wind Turbine Aerodynamics
Analysis of wind turbine performance, aeroacoustics, and loads; turbine selection for site-specific application.

*This course is offered in the spring semester (January to early May). We reccomend you register for this course by December 15.

AERSP 880: Wind Turbine Systems
Wind turbine technology and the critical elements of turbine system design.

*This course is offered in the fall semester (August to mid-December). We reccomend you register for this course by July 15.

AERSP 886: Engineering of Wind Project Development
An overview of the wind project development process and technical considerations for onshore and offshore applications.

*This course is offered in the summer semester (May to mid-August). We reccomend you register for this course by April 15.
